CONTRACT

You enter into contract with Guruguru safaris Limited Tour Operator company (as TO or US), We are concern and high rated attention on your holiday booking with terms and conditions- before pressing a booking with us ensure that you have read and understood all Terms and Conditions.

A contract with TO subjected with a he/she departure person where by during confirmation of booking has been made, automatically you are entering into this contract.

HEALTHY AND MEDICAL CONDITION
We pay attention on your holiday tour, if you or another person as a group or partner, we would like to know if he/she has any disability or medical issues which may affect your holiday in one way or another, please tell us before your holiday booking is confirmed, so that we can advise according to the particular matter, full details must be written at the time of booking our ‘TO’ will take into consideration according to provision needs of disability or medical issue, perhaps we reserve the rights to reject the booking if we feel reasonably unable to accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned-although we reserve the rights to cancel the booking if full details are not given at the time of booking when we become aware of the concerned matter.

DOCUMENT DETAILS
After your holiday booking confirmed, you must read carefully your receipt invoice, names, tailor-made itinerary, flight ticket and all other  details provided from us, Contact us as soon as possible via info@gurugurusafaris.com if some information appears incorrect, so that we can be able to change immediately as it may not be possible to make some changes later- We assume 10 days of being notified from YOU in any incorrect details otherwise we regret that we cannot be liable or responsible of any extra costs or expenses occur.

CANCELLATION TERMS BY ‘YOU’
All cancellation must be in procedure of writing and we must receive a notification of cancellation the date of cancellation as ‘WE’ will make a process of refund based on the following cancellation terms.

If the reason for cancellation is covered under the term of your insurance policy you may be to reclaim the charges. Notwithoutstanding the above, if we have issued your domestic airline tickets and you choose at any time to cancel them then we will not refund you any monies for they ticket.

PRICE ITINERARIES 

The price of your itinerary will base on known costs at the date of issue of itinerary. At any time before a full payment of your holiday has made TO reserves the right to levy a surcharge where costs have changed since date issued of the itinerary. TO will absorb amount up to 2% of the total of the holiday price surcharge any amount greater than 2%. Should exceed 10% of the total holiday price before 60 days of arrival date you are entitled to cancel the holiday and receive the full refund of monies paid. We reserve the right to make charges to correct errors in advertised prices at any time before your holiday confirmed. We will advise you at any errors of which we are aware and of the then applicable at the time of booking.

Matters influencing a surcharge would include, but are not limited to, increase in transportation costs e.g. fuel, schedule air fares and any other airline surcharges, taxes or fees payable for service such as landing taxes, or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports airport, or increase in park fees, reserve fees or concessional fees.

AMENDMENTS TO THE ITINERARY

If after this contract has been completed the traveler wishes to change the itinerary, GSL will endeavor to accommodate you wherever possible. However, should cancellation fees be levied by our suppliers these will be charged to you.

CHANGES FEES

After a contract has been signed, any change requested by the client will result in a change fee of $50 per change in addition to any other cost increases (decreases) resulting from the change. Prior to the first day of the safari, GSL will waive this change fee for the first change request. Starting on the first day of safari, no complimentary change requests will be allowed.

HOTELS

The above-noted accommodations will be immediately booked and confirmed upon receipt of payment and/or a signed contract. In the unlikely circumstance that, by the time GSL tries to confirm and book, the rooms are no longer available, GSL will allow the traveler(s) to give input on the selection of alternate locations. The total price may be adjusted as a result.

Traveler is advised to review the websites of the above-noted accommodations and/or to search for and read online reviews. While we do our best to recommend and accurately describe the best accommodation choices for your situation, GSL cannot be held liable when the traveler’s expectations differ from the actual accommodation. Should a traveler arrive at an accommodation and find something unacceptable, GSL will assist with the identification of a new location, but the costs will be billed to the traveler’s account. If the accommodation has a defect that the traveler believes warrants a refund, GSL will aggressively pursue a refund on traveler’s behalf.

TRAVEL INSURANCE 

We recommend that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Travel protection plans can include coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay and more.

PROBLEMS

If you have a problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant organizer (camp/hotel manager/Safari guide) immediately and he will endeavor to put things right. If your problem cannot be resolved you need to contact the TO office so that we have the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem.

BAGAGGE 

At any time, all baggage and personal effects are at the client’s responsibility and the GSL does not accept any liability for any loss or damage of any personal effects, howsoever arising. * Clients are entitled to one bag of not more than 15 kg (backpack or soft bag – no hardtop suitcase) and a daypack. The GSL reserves the right to refuse excess baggage. Please notice that on our trekking tours and on some “bush” flights other baggage regulations may apply.

RISK

The GSL and its owner, directors, management staffs and employees shall not be held responsible for any injury or death to persons on tour, nor for loss or damage to personal property, however they may be caused. The GSL draws your attention to the fact that there are certain inherent risks present when on Safari, or when engaging in any strenuous physical activity. It is your sole responsibility to obtain appropriate medical advice as to medication, immunization, and whether or not you are fit enough to undertake the trip, prior to departure. The GSL shall not be liable for illness, injury or death sustained whilst visiting the properties owned and managed by the GSL company.

ACCESS

GSL cannot be held responsible for road and airstrip conditions, which may make travel impossible at times. Any changes to the initial itinerary are subject to the conditions and rates outlined above, despite any access matters or weather conditions.

AUTHORITY ON TOUR

The decisions of the Company´s guide / driver on tour shall at all times be final and binding. * The client must at all times comply with the laws, customs and foreign exchange regulations of all countries visited.

TRAVEL AGENT INTRODUCER

If you have been referred to us by another part (for example a travel agent) you agree to hold them blameless and waive any and all claims against such party. Any issues you may have must be directed to us and dealt with under the terms of our contract.

MARKETING

The GSL reserves the right to use any photographs and videos taken during tours for marketing or any other advertising material. The client hereby gives consent to use such photographs and authorises the Company to retain copyright for these photographs and such material.

BOOKING PROCEDURE:

  • You make an inquiry.
  • We contact you to set up an initial phone consultation (one person or whole group).
  • We develop a first draft itinerary.
  • Several variations are made until the perfect itinerary is reached.
  • Prior to going to contract we have our office in Arusha run a comprehensive availability check on all accommodations and request provisional bookings.
  • If all accommodations are available, you are sent a final contract/itinerary for signing and your deposit is due.
  • A deposit of 35% of the package price being received from Us.
  • We require when we receive a full payment of the holiday when the booking is made less than 50 days prior before of your departure date.
  • Once you sign and return your contract, our office in Arusha submits booking vouchers and makes necessary deposits to all the accommodations to finalize the bookings.

Signed and stamped booking vouchers are scanned and emailed to you as confirmation of your bookings.

PACKAGE INCLUSION:
Unless specified otherwise in the itinerary details, our prices include:

  • All accommodation and meals during safari
  • All domestic and/or chartered flights according of itinerary says
  • All airport transfers
  • Unlimited and exclusive use of a 4-wheel drive safari vehicle & driver while on safari. Your vehicle will be in excellent condition and have a pop­-open roof for 360-degree game viewing. It will also have a radio so your guide can communicate with other guides to find the best viewing locations.
  • Guruguru Safaris Tanzanian driver/guide (English­-speaking) with vast knowledge of Tanzania and its wildlife.
  • All park fees
  • All activity fees
  • Soft drinks and bottled water on game drives

On camping safaris, the price includes camping fees and a cook who will not only prepare delicious meals but will also set up and take down camp each day while you are enjoying the days’ activities. Equipment includes high quality all­-weather tents, sleeping bags, pillows, camping mattresses, and portable table, chairs, and washstand. Most campgrounds have communal restrooms with showers. Some have hot water.
