After breakfast, depart from Serengeti with packed lunch boxes and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor.

The crater is one of Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife destinations, with a high concentration of animals throughout the year. You may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, and, with luck, the rare black rhino. Later in the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
