Itinerary
7:00 AM
Pick-up from Arusha or Moshi town Scenic 2-hour drive through the Great Rift Valley with a coffee stop.
9:30 AM
Enter the park. Morning game drive along the lake shore and forest trails. Look for elephants, buffalo, giraffe, and the legendary tree-climbing lions.
13:30 PM
Lunch break at a scenic picnic site with views over the lake and Rift Valley escarpment.
15:00 PM
Afternoon game drive and bird watching. Flamingos, pelicans, kingfishers, and hornbills are common.
16:30 PM
Exit the park and return to Arusha or Moshi arriving by 18:30 PM.

Do you need a visa to visit Tanzania?
You can obtain this visa either online or on arrival. Typically, it takes 3-5 days to get your visa approved online. However, if your trip starts in less than a week, we recommend opting for the on-arrival visa. To avoid issues with POS machines, bring $50 in cash.
