Itinerary
6:30 AM
Early pick-up from Arusha or Moshi via Karatu Town 3-4 hour scenic drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area with views of the crater rim.
10:00 AM
Descend into the crater. Full-day game drive on the crater floor. You might Spot black rhino, lion prides, hyenas, zebras, and thousands of wildebeest.
13:00 PM
Lunch at Ngoitokitok Picnic Site with hippo pools in view.
14:00 PM
Continue game drive and bird watching. Flamingos, secretary birds, and crowned cranes are highlights.
16:00 PM
Ascend the crater rim and return to Arusha or Moshi via Karatu arriving by 19:00 PM.
