Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Transfer to Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari representative and professional driver-guide. After a short briefing, you will be transferred to Arusha for relaxation after your international flight.
Depending on your arrival time, you may rest at the hotel, enjoy the facilities, and prepare for your Ndutu calving season safari adventure starting the next day.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Arusha National Park
After breakfast, depart for Arusha National Park with packed lunch boxes. This scenic park is known for Mount Meru, Momella Lakes, Ngurdoto Crater, lush forests, and open grasslands.
During your game drive, you may see giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, waterbucks, bushbucks, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. The park also offers excellent birdwatching, especially around the Momella Lakes. Later in the afternoon, return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park – Karatu
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch boxes. The park lies at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and is known for its groundwater forest, lake views, elephants, baboons, hippos, giraffes, and rich birdlife.
Enjoy a game drive through the park before continuing to Karatu in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight. This stop places you closer to the Ngorongoro highlands and the route toward Ndutu.

Day 4: Karatu – Ndutu Region
After breakfast, depart for the Ndutu region, one of the most important areas during the calving season. The drive takes you through beautiful highland scenery before reaching the open plains and seasonal grazing areas used by the migrating herds.
Upon arrival, enjoy game viewing en route as you continue toward your lodge. Ndutu is especially rewarding during calving season, when large herds of wildebeest and zebras gather on the nutrient-rich plains, attracting predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu
Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive in the Ndutu region. After breakfast, depart with packed lunch boxes and spend the day following wildlife movement across the plains, woodland areas, and seasonal lakes.
During the calving season, Ndutu offers excellent opportunities to see newborn wildebeest calves, large zebra herds, and intense predator activity. Your guide will focus on recent sightings and herd movement to maximize your chances of memorable wildlife encounters.

Day 6: Another Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu
Enjoy another full day exploring Ndutu. This extra day is important during the calving season because wildlife movement can change daily depending on rain, grazing conditions, and predator activity.
You may spend time watching large herds, searching for cheetahs on the open plains, observing lions near woodland areas, or photographing the dramatic interaction between predators and prey. After an exciting day, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
