Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Transfer to Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari representative and professional driver-guide. After a short briefing, you will be transferred to Arusha for relaxation after your international flight.
Depending on your arrival time, you may rest at the hotel, enjoy the facilities, and prepare for your Ndutu calving season safari adventure starting the next day.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Arusha National Park
After breakfast, depart for Arusha National Park with packed lunch boxes. This scenic park is known for Mount Meru, Momella Lakes, Ngurdoto Crater, lush forests, and open grasslands.
During your game drive, you may see giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, waterbucks, bushbucks, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. The park also offers excellent birdwatching, especially around the Momella Lakes. Later in the afternoon, return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park – Karatu
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch boxes. The park is located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and is known for its groundwater forest, lake views, elephants, baboons, hippos, giraffes, and rich birdlife.
Enjoy a game drive through the park before continuing to Karatu in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight. This stop places you closer to the route toward Ndutu and the Ngorongoro highlands.

Day 4: Karatu – Ndutu Region
After breakfast, depart for the Ndutu region, one of the most important areas during the wildebeest calving season. The drive takes you through beautiful highland scenery before reaching the open plains and seasonal grazing areas.
Upon arrival, enjoy game viewing en route as you continue toward your lodge. During the calving season, Ndutu is known for large herds of wildebeests and zebras, newborn calves, and excellent predator activity from lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu
Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive in the Ndutu region. After breakfast, depart with packed lunch boxes and spend the day following wildlife movement across the plains, woodlands, and seasonal lake areas.
The Ndutu calving season offers exceptional opportunities to see newborn wildebeest calves, large zebra herds, and predators following the migration. Your guide will focus on recent wildlife movements to maximize your chances of memorable sightings.

Day 6: Ndutu – Ngorongoro Crater Safari
After breakfast, depart Ndutu with packed lunch boxes and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor.
The crater is one of Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife destinations, with a high concentration of animals throughout the year. You may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, and, with luck, the rare black rhino. Later in the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch boxes. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife during the dry season.
Enjoy a game drive through the park with chances to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, buffaloes, and many bird species. Later in the evening, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire is one of the best parks in northern Tanzania for elephant photography, baobab landscapes, predators, and birdlife. After your game drive, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
