Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Transfer to Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by our safari representative and professional driver-guide. After a short briefing about your upcoming adventure, you will be transferred to Arusha, the safari capital of Tanzania.
The drive to Arusha takes approximately one hour, offering your first glimpse of Tanzania’s beautiful countryside, local villages, and coffee plantations. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel, enjoy the gardens, visit the spa, or take in the spectacular views of Mount Meru.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Arusha National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for Arusha National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and diverse national parks. Although smaller than the northern circuit’s larger parks, Arusha National Park boasts remarkable landscapes and abundant wildlife.
The park is home to Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest mountain, as well as lush montane forests, sparkling Momella Lakes, and the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater. During your game drive, you may encounter giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, waterbucks, bushbucks, and large troops of black-and-white colobus monkeys swinging through the forest canopy. The Momella Lakes attract a variety of birdlife, including flamingos, pelicans, herons, and kingfishers, making the park a paradise for bird enthusiasts.
A packed lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic picnic site within the park before continuing your afternoon wildlife viewing. Return to Arusha in the late afternoon for relaxation and dinner.

Day 3: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park – Karatu
After breakfast, begin your journey toward Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful park nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Lake Manyara is famous for its incredible ecological diversity. Your game drive begins in a dense groundwater forest filled with towering mahogany and fig trees before opening into grassy floodplains and the alkaline lake itself.
The park is known for its large elephant populations, tree-climbing lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and hundreds of bird species. During certain seasons, thousands of flamingos gather along the lakeshore, creating a stunning pink spectacle.
Enjoy a packed lunch in the park while surrounded by nature before continuing your exploration. Later in the afternoon, proceed to Karatu, a charming town located on the outskirts of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Highlands – Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world.
Your journey takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering breathtaking views of volcanic highlands, Maasai settlements, and endless savannah landscapes.
As you enter Serengeti National Park, the scenery transforms into vast open plains stretching beyond the horizon. Wildlife sightings begin immediately, with opportunities to see lions resting beneath acacia trees, elephants crossing the plains, and herds of zebras and wildebeests grazing across the grasslands.
A packed lunch will be enjoyed en route while continuing with a game drive toward your lodge.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the incredible ecosystems of Serengeti National Park. After an early breakfast, depart with packed lunches for a full day of wildlife viewing. Your guide will take you through different regions of the park, tracking wildlife movements and maximizing your chances of memorable sightings.
Serengeti is home to Africa’s highest concentration of large predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and spotted hyenas. You may witness dramatic predator-prey interactions or observe lions resting in the shade while keeping watch over nearby herds.
Depending on the season, you may encounter the world-famous Great Migration, where hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras move across the Serengeti ecosystem in search of fresh grazing. After an unforgettable day in the bush, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 6: Another Full-Day Serengeti Safari Experience
Another exciting day awaits as you continue exploring the vast wilderness of Serengeti National Park. This additional day allows for deeper exploration of different wildlife habitats, including riverine forests, kopjes (rock outcrops), and remote areas often visited by predators.
Your guide may focus on tracking specific animals based on recent sightings, giving you the opportunity to search for elusive leopards, cheetahs on the hunt, large elephant bulls, and massive lion prides. Bird enthusiasts will also enjoy spotting numerous species including secretary birds, ostriches, eagles, and vultures.
Enjoy a packed lunch in the bush before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and another night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Safari
After breakfast, depart Serengeti with packed lunches and enjoy a final game drive as you make your way toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend approximately 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s premier wildlife viewing destinations.
The crater floor supports an astonishing concentration of wildlife year-round due to its permanent water sources and fertile grazing lands. You may encounter black rhinos, large tusker elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, jackals, hyenas, and thousands of grazing herbivores.
Enjoy your packed lunch at the famous hippo pool picnic site while taking in the breathtaking surroundings. In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and continue to your lodge.

Day 8: Ngorongoro – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, travel to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden safari gems.
The park is famous for its iconic baobab trees and impressive elephant population, often considered among the largest concentrations in East Africa. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes the primary source of water, attracting large numbers of animals from surrounding areas.

Enjoy a full-day game drive with opportunities to see elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and numerous bird species. A packed lunch will be served in a designated picnic area within the park. In the late afternoon, proceed to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 9: Full-Day Safari in Tarangire National Park
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out for another full day of wildlife exploration in Tarangire National Park.
Today provides additional opportunities to discover areas of the park not visited on the previous day. Tarangire’s varied habitats support a rich diversity of wildlife and offer excellent photographic opportunities. Watch elephant families interact around watering holes, observe giraffes browsing acacia trees, and keep an eye out for predators following the movements of prey animals.
The park is also one of Tanzania’s top birdwatching destinations, with more than 500 recorded bird species. Following a packed lunch in the bush, continue your afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge at sunset.

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and begin your journey back to Arusha.

You can obtain this visa either online or on arrival. Typically, it takes 3-5 days to get your visa approved online. However, if your trip starts in less than a week, we recommend opting for the on-arrival visa. To avoid issues with POS machines, bring $50 in cash.
