Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Transfer to Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari representative and professional driver-guide. After a short briefing, you will be transferred to Arusha for relaxation after your international flight.
Depending on your arrival time, you may rest at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and prepare for your calving season safari adventure starting the following day.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch boxes. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife during the dry season.
Enjoy a game drive through the park with chances to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, buffaloes, and many bird species. Later in the evening, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire – Ndutu Region via Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, depart for the Ndutu region via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with packed lunch boxes. The journey takes you through scenic highlands, Maasai landscapes, and open plains before reaching one of the most important areas for the wildebeest calving season.
Upon arrival in Ndutu, enjoy game viewing en route as you continue toward your lodge. During calving season, Ndutu is known for large wildebeest and zebra herds, newborn calves, and strong predator activity from lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu
Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive in the Ndutu region. After breakfast, depart with packed lunch boxes and spend the day exploring the open plains, woodland areas, and seasonal lake surroundings.
The Ndutu calving season offers excellent opportunities to see migration herds, newborn wildebeest calves, and predator-prey interactions. Your guide will follow wildlife movement and recent sightings to maximize your chances of memorable safari experiences.

Day 5: Ndutu – Ngorongoro Crater Safari
After breakfast, depart Ndutu and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive on the crater floor.
The crater is one of Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife destinations, with a high concentration of animals throughout the year. You may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, and, with luck, the rare black rhino. Later in the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Kilimanjaro International Airport

After lunch, continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. This marks the end of your 6-day Ndutu Calving Season Safari.
